Wildlife Forever Website
When I joined Wildlife Forever, their website was outdated and difficult to navigate. I began by simplifying and cleaning up the WordPress site, then led the transition to Squarespace to make updates easier for their small team. Working with an intern, we migrated and restructured all content on the new platform.
I also helped create dedicated websites for Wildlife Forever’s key programs - The Art of Conservation and Clean Drain Dry - to better showcase their reach and impact.
The redesigned site is now modern, streamlined, and user-friendly, clearly communicating the depth of Wildlife Forever’s conservation work.
The Art of Conservation Website
The Art of Conservation Program encapsulates the Fish Art and Songbird Art Contests for K–12 students, inspiring young people to explore conservation through art and creative writing.
Originally just a subpage on the main Wildlife Forever website, the program lacked clear navigation and engaging storytelling. I led the creation of a dedicated Squarespace site to house both contests and provide educational resources for students and teachers.
Designed for usability and inclusivity, the site features simplified navigation and accessible language for an international audience. The layout keeps the spotlight on student artwork and creates a seamless, inspiring contest experience.
Clean Drain Dry Website
Clean Drain Dry is the leading public awareness campaign dedicated to preventing the spread of aquatic invasive species (AIS)—one of the biggest threats to biodiversity and outdoor recreation.
To improve accessibility and engagement, I helped develop a dedicated website on Squarespace that centralizes the program’s tools and resources. The site features a marketing catalog of products and services, interactive mapping tools for inspection stations, and information on related initiatives like Citizen Carp Control and Project 435.
The result is a user-friendly platform that makes it easier for boaters, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts to take action and help protect our waters.
